Superintendent

Our client is a leading life sciences engineering and consulting firm that partners with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and advanced manufacturing companies to deliver complex facility and construction projects. They specialize in supporting highly regulated environments where quality, safety, and precision are critical.

They are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations, coordinate project execution, and ensure successful delivery of complex construction projects from start to finish.

Role Responsibilities
-Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of field operations for life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, or advanced manufacturing construction projects
-Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule
-Coordinate daily site activities, including manpower planning, site logistics, material coordination, and workflow management
-Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
-Partner closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, and trade partners to resolve issues and maintain project progress
-Lead project meetings, track progress, and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders
-Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure proper execution in the field
-Identify potential risks, delays, or conflicts and implement solutions to keep projects on track
-Support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities as needed within regulated environments

What Were Looking For
-5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Construction Superintendent overseeing complex commercial, industrial, or life sciences projects
-Experience managing field operations for pharmaceutical, biotech, advanced manufacturing, or other highly regulated facilities preferred
-Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, subcontractor management, and site coordination
-Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
-Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and drive project execution
-Strong commitment to safety, quality, and project excellence
-Experience working in GMP, FDA-regulated, or controlled environments is highly preferred
