Warehouse Group Lead (2nd Shift) - Rolling Stock

Position Overview:
As a Rolling Stock (RS) Warehouse Group Lead, you will support and lead a wide range of activities in a dynamic, high-energy warehouse environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production departments, enabling the assembly of the world’s best rail vehicles. This role focuses on key warehouse functions such as receiving, put-away, picking, kitting, and material delivery to the RS production areas. Additionally, you will interact with the MRP system to accurately track material movements and ensure inventory integrity.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 2:30am
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Provides work assignments and work instructions to employees throughout each workday.
- Assists and trains employees in new job assignments.
- Coordinates work schedules with other Group Leaders and/or Supervisors and maintains work status.
- Performs quality checks on work being performed.
- Monitors employees' safety, quality, methods, and output.
- Keeps supervision informed of work plans, status, and employee performance.
- Prepares and/or reviews employee time sheets and other labor input documents.
- Assists the supervisor in conducting regular safety meetings.
To thrive in this role, you have:
- High school education or GED
- 2 years previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment or demonstrated existing proficiency in warehouse operations.
- Basic English skills - ability to read and understand written instructions and effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to Lead and train Associates.
We would be impressed if you have:
- Previous warehouse leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous Powered Industrial Vehicle certification
- SAP experience related to warehouse activities

The base rate range for this position in Lexington, NC is $19.55/hr - $23.85/hr. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
