Perm/CVOR Nurse Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CVOR Nurse Manager to oversee the clinical and operational performance of the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This leadership role is critical in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while driving team engagement, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the CVOR unit, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of ~26 clinical staff members
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff education and performance management
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration
• Manage departmental budget, staffing plans, and resource allocation
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and support patient safety goals
• Provide hands-on clinical support when needed
• Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs
• Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $106,184 – $155,328 annually

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – required
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or MBA (required or in progress)
• Previous Nurse Manager or leadership experience
• Strong experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required prior to clinical duties)
• Leadership certification required within 1 year of eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in a surgical or CVOR setting
• Demonstrated success in team leadership and staff development
