Scrap Bays
- Inspects assigned truck for damage or problems at the beginning of the shift.
- Measures to get a tare weight at beginning of the shift.
- Drives 60 ton trucks from the Port to Scrap Lines.
- Accurately records weight from payload meter for scrap hauled to lines.
- Drives 60 ton trucks from Port to Scrap Line.
- Drives trucks over scales and record accurate load weights for scrap hauled to the Scrap Line.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds - (High Physical Demand Level per DOL)
- Must meet and maintain certification for use of respiratory protective equipment as required by OSHA 1910.134
- Demonstrated aptitude to execute customer orders and maintain
- Requires work in all types of weather conditions
- Requires working on and around barges and water
- Must be available to work all shifts and weekends including 12 hours shifts
