We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon to join a community-based surgical practice in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina . This opportunity offers the ability to provide a broad scope of general surgical care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
The General Surgeon will evaluate, diagnose, and surgically treat a wide range of conditions while working closely with hospital staff, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures
- Evaluate and manage surgical patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care
- Participate in surgical call coverage as applicable
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and surgical teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Requirements
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
