Salary: $16 - $20/hour

Position Summary:

TheLandscaping Technicianwill be an integral member of a regional landscaping team. Responsible forgroundskeeping, the landscaping technician will safelyoperateequipmentto keep solar sites wellmaintainedandfollow the direction of the Crew Leadand Regional Managerto ensure CSS fulfills service obligations.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for vegetation maintenance and weed abatement on solar PV power plant grounds with services including, but not limited to:

• • Mowing

• • Herbicidemixing andapplication

• • String trimming

• • Grading, seeding, and erosion repair

• Beaself-starterand work independently on tasks assigned by crew lead and management.

• Maintain and repair landscaping equipment and vehicles as needed

• ProvidetimelyField Service Reports back to Operations staff for delivery to client

• Assistthe electrical services teams,special projectsand livestock serviceteams as needed

• Ensure premium client service and excellence in groundskeeping management

• Routine overtime work and travel out of town for overnight workrequiredas an essential function of the role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experienceoperatingandmaintaining equipment including:

• • Zero turn mowers

• • Tractors

• • Mini excavators

• • Compact track loaders

• • String trimmers

• • Bushhogs

• Ability tosafely and routinely strap, bind, chain, and tow a loaded 30gooseneck trailer

• Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal oversight

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license with satisfactory driving recordin order tooperatea company vehicle

Physical Demands:

• Must be able tolift upto50poundsfrequently

• Must have the ability to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk short distances for 8-10 hours a day

Work Environment:

• Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold
