Technical Source – Contract Opportunity
About the Role
Technical Source is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Software Developer to join our client’s development team. This position involves designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-level applications in the healthcare technology space. The software supports the processing and analysis of medical images (such as MRI or ultrasound scans), enabling healthcare professionals to deliver accurate insights to patients and physicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain modern, responsive web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop robust server-side applications leveraging Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Participate in peer code reviews, ensuring high-quality standards and best practices.
- Create and support RESTful APIs to integrate with internal and external systems.
- Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with both client and server-side code.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience working with JavaScript.
- 2+ years of experience developing with Node.js.
- At least 1 year of hands-on SQL development experience.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Practical experience with non-relational databases (Redis).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
- Skilled in performance tuning and application optimization.
- Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools such as Chrome DevTools.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable user interfaces.
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
