Merchandising Executive

About this role

Merchandising Executive is responsible for collaborating with other marketing groups and sales on branded POSM (Point Of Sales Materials) to maximize retail impact and communicating with advertising agency on creative briefs, executing key visuals and messaging across variety of POSM (Point Of Sales Materials) for core brands.

Areas of Responsibility

• Relationship lead for Archway and all logistics associated with our centralized storage facility, ensuring that fulfillment of warehouse orders are met in a timely manner. Ownership of the Archway POSM (Point Of Sales Materials) E-Store and all associated administrative responsibilities.
• Merge the brand strategies with field dynamics to design the most effective, innovative, eye-catching point of sales materials for all categories, ensuring all legal requirements have been met (liaison with vendors, brand group and finance).
• Closely work with other team members to create Purchase Orders, verify inventory receiving and approve payment of Invoices, advise Merchandising Manager for budget phasing, overspent, underspent challenges. Provide Finance documentation and any necessary files for appropriate charging of taxes by ship to point.
• Review and approve POSM (Point Of Sales Materials) printer proofs for any art issues, color and legal requirements prior to printing and attend Press Side Approvals for each POSM (Point Of Sales Materials) item to ensure JTI LIGGETT quality standards are met while managing timing to deliver to field sales force for creative change-overs by deadline.
• Serve as the backup for Warehouse Anywhere - Work to identify acceptable field POSM (Point Of Sales Materials) storage units that meet company requirements, setup or close out of units quickly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Marketing, Communications, Sales, Business, or other related fields.
• Background in merchandising, marketing, or related administrative and systems-based activities, supporting coordination, execution, and day-to-day operational processes
• Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a professional environment.
• Strong attention to detail and execution mindset, combined with a proactive, enthusiastic attitude; ability to work comfortably with data and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
