Join our dedicated urgent care team in Boone, North Carolina! We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and collect thorough patient histories, including medications and allergies.
- Provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate documentation and timely progress notes.
- Administer and oversee minor urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care, etc.).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to deliver team-based care.
- Counsel patients, provide referrals when necessary, and support continuity of care.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in urgent care procedures and medical terminology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to follow clinical protocols while maintaining flexibility in a busy environment.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to all licensure requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited PA or Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active and unrestricted North Carolina NP or PA license .
- Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS strongly preferred.
- Valid NC driver’s license and proficiency with EMR systems.
