A growing neurology program in Greenville, North Carolina is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Neurologist to join an established pediatric neurology practice. This position offers the opportunity to provide the full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient pediatric neurology care in a collaborative academic and clinical environment. New graduates and visa candidates are welcome to apply.
The pediatric program is supported by the region’s only tertiary children’s hospital , designed specifically for pediatric patients and offering advanced services, including ECMO and pediatric surgical programs .
Opportunity Highlights include:
- Employment within a physician-led academic practice model

- Approximately 200-bed, state-of-the-art children’s hospital serving a multi-county region
- Pediatric hospital resources include:
- NICU
- Pediatric step-down unit
- PICU
- 100% pediatric neurology practice
- Academic appointment available at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level
- Strong support from an affiliated Department of Pediatrics
- Established clinical neuroscience team , including:
- Neurosurgeons (including pediatric neurosurgery)
- Interventional neurologists
- Vascular neurologists
- Neurointensivists
- Subspecialty neurologists in areas such as:
- Pediatric neurology
- Epilepsy
- Movement disorders
- Headache
- Neuromuscular medicine
- Sleep medicine
- Intraoperative monitoring
- Neuro-oncology
- Teaching and clinical research opportunities for interested candidates
- Built-in referral network
- On-site infusion suite
- In-office laboratory, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies
Requirements
Education & Training
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency program
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Neurology Residency or fellowship training
Certification & Licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology
- Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted North Carolina medical license
- Eligible for hospital privileges
- Visa candidates welcome (must meet federal and state eligibility requirements)
