This role involves working in a dynamic environment within the CICU, focusing on critical care with an emphasis on skills such as vent management, telemetry interpretation, and hemodynamics understanding.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• Titrate vesicant medications
• Administer sedation and paralytics
• Manage ventilation equipment and understand hemodynamics
• Perform telemetry interpretation
• Set up and interpret PA catheter readings
• Conduct advanced procedures such as cardioversion and central line insertion

Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• Experience with vesicant meds, pressors, and advanced ventilation
• Understanding of hemodynamics and telemetry interpretation
• Strong proficiency in procedures like chest tube maintenance and transvenous pacing
• CCRN certification recommended, but not required
