Cath Lab Tech (90% Interventional Radiology) – Travel Assignment

Salisbury, NC

Earn Up to $3,700/Week* | 5×8 Day Shift | 20-Week Contract

Taxable hourly pay up to $70/hour, plus applicable housing and meal stipends for eligible travelers.

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech with strong Interventional Radiology (IR) experience for an exciting travel opportunity in Salisbury, North Carolina.

This is a unique IR-focused Cath Lab where approximately 90% of cases are Interventional Radiology and 10% involve Cardiology procedures.

Assignment Details:

• Position: Cath Lab Tech (IR Focus).
• Location: Salisbury, NC.
• Start Date: September 2, 2026.
• Contract Length: 20 Weeks.
• Schedule: Days – 5×8-hour shifts.
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week.
• Pay: Earn up to $3,200/week total compensation *.
• Weekly On-Call Rotation.
• Every Third Weekend.
• Scrubs Provided.

Responsibilities:

You'll assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Scrub and circulate Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Assist with Cath Lab procedures.
• Maintain sterile field.
• Accurate hemodynamic monitoring.
• Telemetry monitoring.
• Left and Right Heart Catheterizations.
• Mesenteric Angiograms.
• Paracentesis.
• Thoracentesis.
• Vascular procedures.
• Carotid stenting.
• Catheter/drain exchanges.
• Renal artery stenting.
• Ureteral stent placement.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab/IR experience.
• Interventional Radiology experience required (90% of cases).

Experience:

• Scrubbing procedures.
• Circulating procedures.
• Telemetry.

Required Certifications:

• BLS.
• ACLS.
• ARRT (R) or RCIS.

Local candidates welcome.

Preferred Experience:

• EKG Lead Placement.
• ARRT Advanced Certification.
• RCES.
• RCIS with medication experience.
• EP Device Implant experience.
• Toshiba Cath Lab.
• GE Labs.
• Philips IVUS/iFR.
