Job Title: Product Engineer - APAC
Location: Qualified candidates must be located in APAC
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: VP of Product Engineering
Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, testing, and refining Unifyr’s products to ensure they meet user needs and industry standards. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
- Design, develop, and refine product features, ensuring alignment with Unifyr’s vision and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and ensure feasibility.
Prototyping & Testing:
- Create prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate product functionality and performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions.
Customer Focus:
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to inform product improvements.
- Work closely with the Product Management team to translate customer insights into actionable product enhancements.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of product designs, specifications, and testing outcomes.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and key metrics.
Innovation & Optimization:
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends to recommend improvements to Unifyr’s product line.
- Optimize product designs for scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in product design, manufacturing, or related fields are a plus.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product development, engineering, or related roles.
- Proven track record of contributing to successful product launches.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of product development processes and tools (e.g., CAD software, Agile methodologies).
- Familiarity with hardware and software integration in product design.
- Experience in testing and validation techniques, including quality assurance processes.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
