- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Assist in bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.
- Monitor and restock supplies, including dishware, glassware, utensils, and cleaning supplies, to ensure uninterrupted service during peak hours.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated receptacles and maintain cleanliness in all restaurant areas, including kitchen, dining room, and restrooms.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, or assembling dishes, as needed.
- Follow proper sanitation and food handling procedures at all times to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to support a positive work environment and provide assistance during busy periods or special events.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including uniform standards, attendance, and punctuality.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in all areas of responsibility.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles is a plus.
- Must comply with all airport security regulations and pass background checks as required.
