**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual situations.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of all persons on site.
+ Document observations and incidents thoroughly and accurately, following Allied Universal protocols.
+ Work closely with local staff and law enforcement as required, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
+ Maintain awareness of site-specific procedures and protocols, adapting to changing environments and conditions as required.
+ Carry and maintain assigned firearm according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines, responding appropriately to situations where armed intervention is necessary.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.
+ A valid firearms permit is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
