Summary
Abacus has partnered with the leading provider of autonomous warehouse robots to expand their field services team in key markets across the United States. In this client-facing role, you will work hands-on with cutting edge robot technology, performing preventative maintenance and hardware repairs at warehouse locations throughout the market. This is a full-time (up to 40 hours per week) contract role, with potential to transition directly to our client after 90 days on assignment.
Responsibilities
• Perform on-site preventative maintenance for robots and charging stations
• Troubleshoot and execute onsite repairs including preparation and necessary equipment management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Assist customers with handling non hardware related escalations onsite.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during visits.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in manufacturing facilities or other environments.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology relevant to the role
Qualifications
• Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred, but we do look at experience and aptitude.
• Prefer 1 year plus experience with hands on technical role.
• Familiar with basic electrical and electronic schematics is highly advantageous.
• Proficient with mechanical tools, meters, and electrical testing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Reliable independent transportation to/from work locations throughout the market
• Access to a smartphone and/or PC to complete training and onboarding period (first 30 days of assignment)
