DDS/DMD
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dentist with Pediatric experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and adolescents, providing high-quality dental care in a supportive and welcoming environment. This role focuses on preventive care, early detection, and treatment of dental issues, while ensuring that every child feels comfortable and at ease during their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive oral health care to children, including routine exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and restorative procedures.
Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and developmental dental issues in pediatric patients.
Educate children and their families on proper oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
Administer safe and appropriate anesthetics and sedation (when required and credentialed).
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs.
Create a child-friendly, supportive atmosphere to reduce dental anxiety and build trust with young patients.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to deliver coordinated, efficient care.
Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
Current state dental license.
Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to children and their families.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young patients.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with children who have special needs.
Knowledge of behavior management techniques in pediatric settings.
Familiarity with digital dental technologies and electronic health records.
