Service and Repair Technician I

Akkodis is seeking a Service and Repair Technician I for a Contract with a client in Charlotte, NC. Candidate must have hands‑on capability in performing small electronic repairs and working with delicate components using tools like tweezers.

Rate Range: $17/hour to $18.5/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Service and Repair Technician I job responsibilities include:

• Performing small electronic assembly and repair tasks on handheld devices using fine‑precision tools.

• Inspecting components to identify defective parts, determine replacement needs, and support repair accuracy.

• Executing technical tasks such as constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical or electronic equipment.

• Managing part identification and ordering requirements to ensure availability of necessary replacement components.

• Supporting cross‑training efforts and adapting to different repair or assembly assignments as needed.

• Working under general supervision to complete daily repair activities while applying sound judgment and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.

• Candidate will have 1 to 1.5 years of small electronic assembly or handheld device repair experience.

• Ability to work with very small parts using tweezers and perform precise electronic or mechanical repair tasks.

• Familiarity with basic technical concepts, equipment testing, and part identification in a repair or assembly environment.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.50 per hour
