Travel Registered Nurse

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **Registered Nurse** to work at a Correctional Facility in **Bayboro, North Carolina.** These are _registry_ positions with our company. 36hrs Travel Package Weekly Gross Pay = $828 Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $23 Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1246 (Hotel-770 Meals-476) Total Weekly ($1246 is not taxed)= $2074 Feels like per hour = $57.61 $2074 div 36 hours = $57.61 48HRS TRAVEL PACKAGE Local Hourly Pay $23 X1.5 34.5 Hourly Overtime Pay 34.5 x12 hrs OT =48hrs 414 Total Overtime $ 2,488.00 **Job Details:** + 7 days a week / 12 hours a day camp. Staff arrive at 6:30am and leave at 7:00pm with 30mins lunch break. 36hr one week and 48hr the next week on a rotation. Schedule and hours subject to change depending on facility need. **Minimum Qualifications:** + **At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse** + A valid and current RN license issued by the state of **North Carolina** + A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) + Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English + **Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away** **Job Responsibilities:** + Provides general nursing care to patients + Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. + Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients. + Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. + Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient. + May make beds, bathe, and feed patients. + May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients. + Additional RN duties given by Supervisor.
