A Day in the Life

Step into the pivotal role of a Metallurgical Casting Specialist . Your core mission will involve the precise application of babbitt to materials, revolutionizing our production process. If you cherish works in molten metal handling, come join our pioneering team, where teamwork breeds success.

Your Responsibilities

• Clean and carefully disassemble fluid film bearings
• Execute effective grit blasting procedures
• Set up and conduct spin casting operations
• Administer molten babbitt with precision in either static or spin casting modes

Ideal Candidate Profile

• In-depth knowledge of casting tools and foundry setups
• Familiar with both ferrous and non-ferrous compositions
• Adept at Tig welding and adept at varied fabrication scenarios
• Operate acetylene torches confidently
• Utilize overhead cranes effectively
• Solutions-driven, with robust problem-solving techniques
• Exemplary spoken and written communication skills
• Proactive in handling tasks independently
• Comprehensive understanding of drawings and manufacturing process documents

In Your Workspace

• Navigating a high-temperature and physically-driven foundry environment
• Capable of hefting up to 50 lbs consistently
• Maneuvering frequently through bending, crawling, stooping, and extending
• Interacting proficiently with complex documents and tasks
