Senior Accountant POST NUMBER: 465074
- Own key components of the monthly and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Prepare and review internal financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and related reporting
- Maintain and update financial schedules: prepaid expenses, property taxes, interest accruals, and debt amortization
- Manage fixed asset accounting: capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
- Calculate inventory and COGS entries; partner with operations to analyze and resolve variances
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts
- Support lease accounting and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards (e.g., ASC 842)
- Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls
- Contribute to system upgrades and lead special projects at the request of the CFO and finance leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting
- Solid understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Strong communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally and adapting in a fast-moving environment
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or product-based company is preferred
