As a Sales Development Representative, you will help drive sales growth and strategic account penetration within North America by creating and executing lead generation campaigns, identifying enterprise prospects, and supporting Business Development Managers with tactical sales plans. You will leverage your entrepreneurial mindset, strong networking skills, and CRM expertise to generate qualified pipeline opportunities.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Create and manage pipeline revenue focused lead generation campaigns within target accounts
  • Identify, qualify, and scope strong sales opportunities that fit GXO’s ideal client profile
  • Proactively target new business through outbound prospecting, including cold calls, emails, social media, and sales tools
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers, Marketing, and Demand Generation to execute tactical sales plans and ongoing lead generation strategies
  • Effectively manage Salesforce, nurture leads, and track sales development initiatives to ensure pipeline growth

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2+ years of lead generation or Business/Sales Development experience in the eCommerce or Business Process Outsourcing space
  • Demonstrated track record of achievement in sales development and lead generation
  • High energy and enthusiasm, with a willingness to make daily cold calls and initiate campaigns
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Strong experience using CRM software (Salesforce preferred), including sales forecasting
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support trade shows and customers

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Strong social media networking skills and ability to build relationships through multiple channels
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales initiatives
  • Entrepreneurial flair, creativity, and account mapping skills to strategically approach lead generation
