This medical/surgical and telemetry unit, established in January 2025, offers a forward-thinking and supportive atmosphere. Here, you’ll work with state-of-the-art technology, a collaborative interdisciplinary team, and enjoy exposure to varied patient cases—ranging from acute medical to chronic conditions and, soon, hematology/oncology patients (no chemo administration unless already certified). You’ll build your resume while learning best practices from colleagues and leaders with different perspectives, and gain hands-on experience that can set you apart professionally. Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible scheduling with both day and night shifts
• RN-Patient ratios: Days 1:5; Nights 1:6 (surge up to 1:8)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 18 months Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone preferred)
• IV start, wound care, experience with drains/tubes, blood products
• ONS certification a plus; not required
• Open to first-time travelers
• Willingness to float within the regional network as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and an engaged interdisciplinary team
• Manage and assess a variety of medical conditions
• Provide patient education and support recovery
• Float to regional facilities as required
