Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This medical/surgical and telemetry unit, established in January 2025, offers a forward-thinking and supportive atmosphere. Here, you’ll work with state-of-the-art technology, a collaborative interdisciplinary team, and enjoy exposure to varied patient cases—ranging from acute medical to chronic conditions and, soon, hematology/oncology patients (no chemo administration unless already certified). You’ll build your resume while learning best practices from colleagues and leaders with different perspectives, and gain hands-on experience that can set you apart professionally. During your downtime, discover the charm of local neighborhoods, explore nearby Charlotte’s dynamic arts and culinary scene, or escape into the Carolina outdoors for memorable adventures.
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible scheduling with both day and night shifts
- RN-Patient ratios: Days 1:5; Nights 1:6 (surge up to 1:8)
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 18 months Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- Experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone preferred)
- IV start, wound care, experience with drains/tubes, blood products
- ONS certification a plus; not required
- Open to first-time travelers
- Willingness to float within the regional network as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and an engaged interdisciplinary team
- Manage and assess a variety of medical conditions
- Provide patient education and support recovery
- Float to regional facilities as required
