Technical Project Manager
Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina (Onsite )
Duration : 6 month
You will be responsible for:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, dependencies, and budgets, ensuring alignment with program plans and successful, on-time delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Co-create project plans and maintain alignment and accountability among all stakeholders through consistent communication and expectation management.
- Technical Leadership: Oversee technical execution, working closely with development teams to ensure adherence to timelines and high-quality deliverables that meet regulatory standards.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and resolve risks and issues to keep projects on track.
- Problem Solving: Investigate root causes of issues, implement effective solutions, and remove blockers to maintain momentum.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Ensure thorough documentation of deliverables, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on progress, risks, and changes while ensuring satisfaction with outcomes..
About you :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience, including 4+ years in technical project management-preferably in the software as a medical device (SaMD) industry.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional, multi-site teams through full product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, including sustaining engineering projects.
- Deep understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and regulatory requirements for medical devices; familiarity with industry standards and medical device regulations is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality project outcomes in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; collaborative, metric-driven, and focused on incremental delivery.
- PMP certification (or equivalent) preferred; experience with software development tools and technologies.
