217617 - Avionic Technician
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionic Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Fighter Aircraft Experience is Preferred, but not required heavy Electrical/MOD experience is accepted
- Clearance not required to start , but is a plus if you have active.
- 4+ years of recent soldering experience is required (Must be able to pass soldering test/training! )
- 6+ years of solid electrical/AVI experience,
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will be responsible for Flight Operations, testing/installing electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, Terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks to ensure flight readiness.
- You may also be required to troubleshoot and repairing electrical and avionics systems based on area team.
- You will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift or weekend. Final shift is assigned after training based of team need
