Location: Macgregor Village, Cary, NC 27511.
Roxy's is looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar program, ensure operational excellence, and foster a positive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and cost control
- Train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and bar backs to maintain service standards
- Develop and update drink menus while ensuring recipe consistency across all shifts
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and enforce all sanitation and safety protocols
- Ensure full compliance with all alcohol service laws, ABC regulations, and house policies
- Monitor labor costs, pour costs, and product waste to meet financial goals
- Work closely with kitchen management to align food and beverage service during peak times
- Handle guest concerns professionally and step in to support the bar team as needed
Requirements:
- Prior bar management or lead bartending experience strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and current beverage trends
- Proven experience with inventory systems and ordering procedures
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Responsible alcohol service mindset with ABC certification (or ability to obtain)
- Nights/weekends availability (must be able to work peak service hours)
- Must meet legal age requirements for managing alcohol service
Positions: Full-time only
