We're seeking an experienced Procurement Director to lead our global sourcing strategy for high-performance categories including raw materials used in fiber optics and advanced communication technologies. This role will report into the SVP of the Broadband business unit and can be based at any of our facilities in North America or South America.

What You'll Do

• Lead Global Strategy : Define and execute a world-class procurement strategy for speciality glass materials, aligned with CommScope's innovation and operational goals
• Build Strategic Partnerships : Cultivate and manage relationships with global glass manufacturers and converters to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and supply continuity
• Collaborate Across Functions : Partner with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to align sourcing with product development and technical requirements
• Negotiate & Mitigate Risk : Secure long-term agreements and proactively manage supply chain risks in a dynamic global market
• Stay Ahead of the Curve : Monitor market trends, pricing shifts, and geopolitical developments to inform sourcing decisions
• Champion Sustainability : Drive responsible sourcing and compliance initiatives across the glass procurement portfolio

What You Bring

• 10+ years of procurement experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Deep expertise in sourcing raw materials ideally for fiber optics, telecom, or high-tech manufacturing with an annual spend of $400m+
• Strong global negotiation skills and supplier relationship management experience
• Solid understanding of material science and glass manufacturing processes
• Bachelor's degree or qualified by experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (MBA preferred)
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced procurement analytics
