• Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel ER Nurse / ER RN)
• Location: Greenville, NC 27834 (Float between ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, and Edgecombe hospitals)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
• Start Date: March 16, 2026
• End Date: June 14, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift (19:00 – 07:30) — 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Unit: Enterprise Central Staffing Pool (regional float) — Emergency Department (Level 1 Trauma)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Work Setting: On-site – Emergency Department (ED)

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) RN experience required (Level 1 Trauma experience preferred)
• License: Active RN Multistate/Compact license required
• Certifications: BLS (AHA required)
• Travel Experience: Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Skills: Strong ER assessment, triage, trauma nursing, and adaptability to float between facilities; effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced ED
• Radius: Must be located outside an 80-mile radius from Greenville, NC

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care during night shifts in a Level 1 Trauma environment
• Float between ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, and Edgecombe hospitals as assigned—flexible travel ER assignment within the regional float pool
• Receive daily assignment notifications by email (sent at 0400 or 1640) to allow for flexible planning
• Quickly integrate into new units and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across facilities to support ED flow
• Perform timely triage, assessment, and intervention for emergency patients and maintain accurate, compliant documentation
• Communicate patient status changes promptly and support efficient handoffs and continuity of care
