MCC PACS- Material Coordinator

The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.
We are looking for a Material Coordinator to join our MCC – New PACS Facility. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.
As a Material Coordinator you will perform the necessary movement of materials: to ensure the production line continues to flow. You may be required to document and record receipt and delivery of all materials and products using SAP.
Shift Hours : 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Hourly Rate : $22.46
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in material management (warehousing)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Experience with SAP system.
- Experience in SIEOPS
- Ability to understand the production schedule for the assigned line.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Technical training in area of responsibility
Responsibilities :
- Use SAP for transfers, confirmations, inventory transactions, and close out orders in SIEOPS; follow the production schedule and coordinate material needs with planners, buyers, schedulers, and managers.
- Count and verify incoming material, determine line stock needs, request picks from planning, and provide pick lists to appropriate personnel.
- Pull and kit material as needed, coordinate with Material Handlers, and resolve material flow issues raised by production through root cause analysis.
- Adhere to all safety rules and established processes, perform duties with urgency, and continually seek process improvements.
- Work independently and as a strong team player, maintain attention to detail under deadlines, and communicate effectively with others while accepting constructive criticism.
- Train others on departmental processes and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
