Tomorrow can't wait, let's shape it together!** **REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer - Production Engineering Department (G34) in Winston-Salem, NC.** In this role, you will support plant performance by resolving machinery-related quality losses, driving waste-reduction initiatives, and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to enhance equipment reliability, improve safety, and ensure effective reapplication of technical solutions across the manufacturing facility. **Your key responsibilities will include:** + Resolving plant-level quality issues related to machinery, equipment, and production processes. + Supporting NPI initiatives by conducting technical risk assessments and overseeing machinery-related trial activities. + Optimizing machine performance, partnering with maintenance to reduce downtime and implement equipment modifications. + Leading waste-reduction actions by analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and applying best practices across operations. + Ensuring safety and compliance through technical evaluations and risk assessments of manufacturing equipment. **What are we looking for?** + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. + Experience managing technical challenges and optimizing machinery in a manufacturing environment. + Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on waste minimization and continuous improvement. + Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and knowledge of safety standards for industrial equipment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a highly engaged, adaptable approach to change. **Beneficial:** + 2+ years of experience in a supervisory manufacturing role. + Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities. **WE ARE REYNOLDS AMERICAN-A member of the BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO GROUP** At Reynolds American, we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
