About Kim Luxe Travel
Kim Luxe Travel is a bespoke travel design consultancy committed to providing exceptional value and uncompromised, personalized experiences for every major life event. We specialize in crafting romantic, high-stakes trips—from destination weddings and honeymoons to anniversaries and milestone celebrations—ensuring every detail delivers maximum value and lifelong memories.
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Honeymoon & Romance Travel Specialist to design, book, and manage custom itineraries focused on romantic travel. This role requires an individual with a deep passion for luxury, romance, and an expert ability to translate a couple's vision into a seamless reality. The ideal candidate will excel at maximizing value, securing special amenities, and handling the emotional intricacies involved in planning once-in-a-lifetime journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Bespoke Itinerary Design: Design highly customized, romantic itineraries for honeymoons, anniversaries, and destination weddings, often involving multi-stop trips and complex logistics (e.g., combining city exploration with beach relaxation).
- Value Maximization & Perks: Strategically utilize supplier relationships to secure value-added amenities such as room upgrades, resort credits, complimentary dinners, and VIP welcome packages, ensuring a premium feel regardless of the couple's specific budget.
- Supplier Expertise: Maintain deep, up-to-date knowledge of the world’s top romantic destinations, boutique hotels, all-inclusive luxury resorts, and cruise lines known for romance packages (e.g., Maldives, Bora Bora, Santorini, Caribbean).
- Emotional & Financial Guidance: Conduct thorough consultations to understand the couple's vision, manage their budget expectations transparently, and patiently guide them through decision-making during a high-stress period (like wedding planning).
- Conflict & Logistics Management: Proactively manage and mitigate any risks related to travel documentation, visas, destination advisories, and time-sensitive wedding group coordination.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with high-net-worth clients and manage sophisticated, high-value bookings.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail regarding specific requests (e.g., dietary needs, room location, surprise planning).
- Proficiency in travel booking software and experience working with romantic travel supplier portals and consortia programs.
- High level of empathy and discretion, essential for handling sensitive client information and expectations related to romantic trips.
What We Offer
- Competitive commission structure with potential bonuses tied to high-value romantic bookings.
- Flexible, remote work environment that allows for a strong work-life balance.
- Access to discounted and complimentary travel opportunities (FAM trips) focused on luxury and romance destinations.
- A collaborative team environment committed to creating Maximized Value and Uncompromised Experiences.
