Warehouse Manager

Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager supports daily operations by setting up processes/organizing, managing inventory, maintaining tools and equipment, conducting safety management, coordinating local deliveries, and ensuring the warehouse, office, and surrounding grounds remain organized, clean, and functional. This role plays a key part in preparing materials and equipment for upcoming projects and supporting overall operational efficiency. The person who fills this role with lead/manage a team of up to two individuals.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Initiate, track, organize, and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Monitor stock of consumables, patch kits, and project materials

Tool & Equipment Management

• Organize tools and equipment for easy access and accountability
• Perform routine tool maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Prepare toolkits and equipment for project mobilizations

Warehouse & Office Upkeep

• Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse environment
• Shipping and receiving
• Clean and tidy the office area weekly
• Organize storage areas to support efficient workflow

Project Preparation (Mobilization)

• Assemble materials, tools, and equipment required for upcoming projects
• Label, stage, and load items for field crews
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure readiness

Fleet & Equipment Maintenance

• Assist with basic fleet maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, and scheduling service
• Track vehicle mileage, service intervals, and repair needs

Local Deliveries & Pickups

• Complete local deliveries and material drops to job sites
• Pick up supplies, tools, or equipment from vendors as needed
• Maintain delivery logs and ensure timely transport

Safety Coordination

• 3M fit testing
• PPE management – order, organize, inventory all ppe supplies
• Equipment, safety coordination
• OHSA 10 and 30 administration
• Security of facility – exterior, entrances/exits (signs), doors, fire extinguishers, spill kits, hazardous material handling, emergency preparedness.

Specialized Tasks

• Prepare and dye sand according to project specifications
• Assemble and maintain patch kits and related materials
• Support landscaping tasks around the facility, including mowing, trimming, and general groundskeeping

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations or a similar role
• OHSA 10/30
• Fork lift certified
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move materials and equipment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic mechanical aptitude for tool and fleet maintenance
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Basic excel skills
• Inventory management software
• Safety management software
• Google suite and Microsoft proficiency

Work Environment

This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, including warehouse tasks, office upkeep, and grounds maintenance. Occasional lifting, bending, and use of hand tools are required. It would be preferable if the person filling this role was bi-lingual (Spanish fluency).

Hours: Mon-Friday 7am-4pm, 1 hour allowance for lunch. Flexibility to come in at 8am and work until 5pm when needed to complete tasks by deadlines. Maybe needed to work an occasional weekends during the year.

Pay/Benefits: The pay scale for this position would be between $45,000.00 to $55,000.00. This role would be considered exempt per the rules of FLSA. You would be eligible for dental insurance in 90 days. You will be eligible for 401(K) and 2 weeks PTO (of the average hours worked in one week) after 1 year of employment.
