Business Development Manager

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager to join a growing and well-established collections company in the greater Charlotte Metro area. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and has a proven ability to generate revenue, build lasting client relationships, and close strategic business opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring an established network of industry contacts, a consultative sales approach, and a strong track record of exceeding performance goals.

Office Location : Concord, NC 28025

Annual Base Salary : $85,000–$95,000/yr.

Commission Structure:
• 10% commission on all new client revenue generated during the client’s first year
• 5% commission on client revenue generated after the first year
• 2.5% commission on client revenue generated after five years

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote the value, features, and benefits of our collection services to prospective clients.

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and relationship development.

• Utilize existing professional relationships and industry connections to generate immediate revenue opportunities.

• Build, manage, and expand long-term client partnerships while identifying opportunities for account growth and retention.

• Partner closely with internal operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding experience and exceptional client satisfaction.

• Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline, track activity metrics, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.

• Represent the company professionally at industry conferences and networking events.

• Demonstrate a history of sales success through measurable KPIs, revenue growth, and achievement of performance goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development.

• Proven history of exceeding sales targets and driving measurable business growth.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

• MS Office Suite & CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Monday.com or similar system) proficiency.

• Strong networking abilities with a talent for developing and maintaining professional relationships.
