Staff Accountant
Kforce has a client in Wilmington, MA that is seeking a Staff Accountant. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support monthly close activities
- Assist with billing, revenue recognition schedules, and fixed asset tracking
- Analyze general ledger activity and support issue resolution
- Support consolidated financial reporting and internal/external reporting requirements
- Assist with audit support, financial schedules, and ad hoc analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet reporting deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 3+ years of general accounting experience
- Experience with ERP systems; strong Excel skills required
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn accounting processes and systems
