In modern manufacturing, every second counts. As our Controls & Instrumentation Electrician, you’ll be the steady hand that keeps complex automation ecosystems healthy—bridging electrical craftsmanship with PLC/HMI know-how.

What You’ll Do

Picture this: a mid-shift alert on a packaging line. You isolate the fault across electrical and control circuits, evaluate pneumatic and hydraulic interactions, verify mechanical integrity, and execute a safe, code-compliant repair. Then you document the fix, communicate lessons learned to operators, and add a preventive task to stop it from happening again. That’s impact.

• Install new equipment, components, and systems; support equipment start-ups and controlled shut-downs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance with precise documentation.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes on every task.
• Partner with production and maintenance to minimize unscheduled downtime.
• Test, locate, and repair faults in electrical and control systems.
• Report all safety hazards to management immediately.
• Engage in projects and continuous improvement; handle other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in an industrial, highly automated environment.
• Bachelor’s in electrical/electronics or Associate’s degree with equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Preferred exposure to: Rockwell RSView, ControlLogix, PLC5000, Wonderware, AB PanelView, HMI software, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet, AutoCAD.
