Lead Pipe Welder

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team for a temporary two-month assignment in Apex, NC. The role involves welding Carbon Steel Pipe and requires working 10-12 hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Candidates must be comfortable passing a 6G weld test.

• Perform TIG welding on Carbon Steel Pipe.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete welds to a high standard, ensuring quality and precision.

• Proficiency in TIG welding.
• Experience with pipe welding, particularly carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Ability to pass a 6G weld test.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques including flux core and MIG welding.
• Skilled in blueprint reading and fitting.

This is a Contract position based out of Apex, NC.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
