Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated construction technician to join our team, traveling to various job sites and engaging in general construction work. This role involves learning new equipment, assisting with machinery maintenance, and managing the loading and unloading of trucks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction work at travel job sites.
• Learn and operate new equipment efficiently.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Experience in construction work, particularly earthwork, is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Construction experience on earthwork sites is preferred but not required for suitable candidates.

Work Environment

You will work either in our shop located in Colfax, NC, or in the field at various job sites. Expect exposure to diverse working conditions and the opportunity to engage in hands-on, practical work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Asheville, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
