Data Manager

- Designs and validates clinical databases including designing or testing logic checks. Develops project-specific data management plans that address areas such as data coding, reporting, or transfer, database locks, and work-flow processes.
- Generates data queries based on validation checks or errors and omissions identified during data review to resolve identified problems.
- Designs forms for receiving, processing, or tracking data. Processes clinical data including receipt, entry, verification, or filing of information.
- Performs quality control audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, or proper usage of clinical systems and data. Monitors work productivity or quality to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Confers with end users to define or implement clinical data review plans, discrepancy management, external data transfers, delivery schedules, reconciliations and protocol deviations review.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
