Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri01:00 AM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas, assisting with visitor direction, access control activities, and other security-related support functions.
- Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and security-related issues, and by following post orders and Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Must be willing and able to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue.
- Must be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as permitted by law and site policy.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
