Develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, or scientific use.
2. Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
3. Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
4. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
5. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
6. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
7. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
8. Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
9. Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
10. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in MATLAB, Electrical Safety Management, Circuit Design, Electrical Code Proficiency, Electrical Equipment Maintenance, Control Systems Design, Electronics Troubleshooting, and Quality Control.
4. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.
5. Advanced MS Office skills.
6. Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
7. Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
8. Project management and supervision skills.
9. Decision-making ability and leadership skills.
