SCOPE:
The VP of Advisor Marketing within our FIG Marketing team leads the strategic direction and performance management of our Advisor Marketing and FIG Media teams. Additionally, the VP of Advisor Marketing is responsible for the development, enhancement, and enrollment of our FIG Elevate Program.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Advisor Marketing
The construction, leadership, development, and performance management of the FIG Advisor Marketing Team which includes marketing strategy, content marketing, program management, digital marketing, data & analytics, internal team member performance and external client satisfaction. Design, introduction, and integration of cutting-edge marketing tactics. Identifying then managing Key Performance Indicators for our financial professional clients and their related businesses.
FIG Media
The oversight of the offerings, promotion, and execution within our FIG Media program. This includes but is not limited to, our on-site audio/video production, event audio/video production, advisor-facing social media (Meta, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn), and offsite audio/video production. Assist in the development, deployment, and measurement of Key Performance Indicators for the division.
Elevate Platform
The curation and deployment of our Elevate Coaching Program – one-on-one and one-to-many advisor-led training for our affiliated financial professionals. Assist in the identification of new coaches (i.e. mentors), inclusive of overall fit for the program.
This is a supervisory position (direct management of 3-5 senior leaders with span of total control for 15-20 team members plus a network of third-party partners) therefore all Human Resource and Performance Management related responsibilities are assigned to the VP of Advisor Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advisor Marketing
- Direct supervision over 2-3 team members
- Developing, implementing, and measurement for performance management criteria for each direct report
- Deliver keynote presentations at FIG virtual and live coaching events.
- Proactively participate in the FIG New Agent/Advisor Recruiting Initiative(s)
- Generate innovative ideas for consideration and implementation.
- Test, experiment, and redirect marketing tactics to maximize success.
- Analyze and report marketing campaign performance to internal team members as well as clients
- Development and adherence by selected, approved, third party partners to our FIG Advisor Marketing scorecard/vendor management process
FIG Media
- Direct supervision over 1 team member
- Developing, implementing, and measurement for performance management criteria for each direct report
Elevate Program
- Work with FIG Executive team, Sales, and other stakeholders on the overall enrollment process for the Elevate Program
- Craft, develop, and maintain relationships with our Elevate Program financial professionals
- Conceptualize “Elevate U.” event agendas.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field preferred.
- 15+ years of marketing experience, specifically in a consultative, project, or relationship management function.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-development skills to keep-up to date with fast-changing trends
- Driven, team player motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Experience within financial services and/or the life insurance industries
- Experience with an advertising agency serving multiple unique brands
- Experience supporting independent business owners
