Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor – Food Manufacturing (AM & PM Openings)

Location: Burlington, NC Area

A growing food manufacturing company in the Burlington area is seeking experienced Production Supervisors to join its leadership team. We currently have both Day and Night Shift openings in a modern, high-speed, and highly regulated production environment.

Shifts & Schedule:

• AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

• PM Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

• 2-2-3 rotation (12-hour shifts)

• Weekend work required

• Facility operates 24/7 with only four planned closure days per year

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $70,000 – $85,000 (commensurate with experience)

• 10% night shift premium for PM shift

• Relocation assistance available (lump sum)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of 20+ production associates

• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently met

• Oversee high-speed automated production and packaging lines

• Manage shift start-up, changeovers, and production flow

• Uphold GMP, FSMA, and HACCP food safety standards

• Partner with maintenance to minimize downtime and support PMs

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations

• Support cross-training and employee skill development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of supervisory experience, or

• Associate’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or

• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience without a degree

• Experience in food manufacturing, CPG/FMCG, or other regulated production

• Strong understanding of automated equipment and quality standards

• Proven ability to lead and coach hourly teams in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP or similar ERP systems preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience in food or beverage production

• Working knowledge of SQF, HACCP, or comparable food safety programs

• Demonstrated success improving KPIs and operational metrics

• Strong record of team development and leadership growth
