Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Greensboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, professional communication. This is a driving post, so you will also conduct vehicle patrols and move between assigned areas as needed. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every interaction.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, assistance with disruptive behavior response, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or medical personnel as needed.
- Control access to designated areas by monitoring entrances, screening visitors per site policy, and verifying credentials while maintaining a professional presence.
- Document security-related activities, incident reports, and patrol observations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have a minimum of two years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
- Have a Law Enforcement Officer License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
