Financial Assistant (Payroll)
- Enter payroll hours and relevant information regarding staff payroll
- Update daily cash journal, allocations, and other spreadsheets
- Manually post payroll to general ledgers and other spreadsheets
- Ensures timesheets are correct
- Record annual leave
- Balance cash accounts in general ledgers
- Prepare and process sales tax refund semi-annually
- Prepare bank interest income and service charge for entry
- Reconcile gift fund account and other accounts as needed
- Create reports using accounting software system
- Assist CPA with audit
- Assist Finance Director as needed
- Prepare bank deposits
- Willing to cross train with Accounts Payable and serve as the backup person
- Serve as primary/secondary relief to the reception clerk during lunch breaks and absences
