Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Concord, North Carolina 28025
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room, Level 3 Trauma Center
• Assignment Type: Travel Operating Room RN
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00am – 7:00pm)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend (scheduled shift or call)
• Call Requirement: Average 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule, 45-minute response time
• Holiday Coverage: Work 75% of holidays during assignment
• Free Parking & Scrubs Provided
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470-$1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Proficiency in circulating for a wide range of surgical specialties: trauma, ortho trauma, total joints, spine, cardiac, vascular, GYN, GYN-oncology, robotics, general, HPB, bariatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, pain, plastics
• Strong teamwork, flexibility, and self-motivation
• First-time travel nurses not accepted

OR RN Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist in complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Respond to call shifts and adapt to changing case needs, including nights and weekends
• Participate in orientation and ongoing departmental education
• Contribute to a positive, supportive operating room culture
