Job Title: Project Estimator – Partners Electrical

grows, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team.
Position Overview
The Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost
estimates for low voltage electrical projects. This role requires strong attention to detail,
the ability to analyze specifications and drawings, and effective communication with
vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring both technical
knowledge and strong organizational skills to support our preconstruction efforts.
Key Responsibilities
 Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and bid documents to
prepare detailed cost estimates.
 Perform quantity takeoffs for low voltage systems including access control,
CCTV, access control, electrified hardware, structured cabling, A/V, etc.
 Solicit, review, and compare vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure
competitive pricing.
 Collaborate with Project Managers and senior leadership to validate project
scope, schedule, and budget.
 Identify risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities within bids.
 Prepare proposal documents and bid packages for client submission.
 Participate in project handoff meetings to ensure accurate transition from
estimating to operations.
Qualifications
 2 years of estimating experience in electrical or low voltage construction
(preferred).
 Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and
technical documents.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other estimating-related software.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
 Self-motivated with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
 Ability and drive to improve and grow existing relationships with current and
future customers.
