National Accounts Sales
- To quote, sell and promote overhead, sectional, high-speed doors, docking equipment and service. Execute with complete customer satisfaction.
- To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the assigned business market and be situated to compete nationwide.
- Possess proven sales skills, demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the assigned business market. Customer retention, account relationships and ownership of the service provided are most important in this role that will result in solid overall National Account relationships. Must be an excellent communicator with high level clients & National Account team.
- Be postured as a professional to handle all sales calls, possess the ability to estimate, follow-up on proposals, contract negotiations and quoting activity in a timely and accurate manner. Moreover, Sales Reps in the National Account group must be able to interface successfully with multiple layers representing end-user accounts, General contractors, National Account functions/team and factory relations.
- Postured to execute and promote all sales calls, architectural and design calls.
- Estimate, follow-up proposals, contract negotiations and quoting activity in a timely and accurate manner using the support of the project managers and service coordinators.
- Promote service PM programs with current and prospect national customers.
- Submit forecast and reports in a timely legible manner.
- Call on service providers and distributors that support our national account business.
- Canvass designated market via in-person visits, social media and telephone and any/all targeted users locally.
- Possess complete understanding of Factory product. Solicit the engineering group to comprehend nuances of the latest products.
- Be immersed in bookings, shops, customs, and contracts.
- Be involved in any/all customer complaints.
- Knowledge of competitions pricing, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Perform work in a safe manner for prevention of accidents to themselves, co-workers, the general public and property of all concerned.
- Understand the product field install process.
- Attend and participate in various trade shows and related activities.
- Complete understanding of product workflow.
- Understand how to read plans, specs and survey buildings.
- Thorough understanding of Industry Terminology; Doors Terminology, construction Terms etc.
- Complete understanding of the current IC Plan for that calendar year.
- Assist the National Accounts Project and Service Coordination teams.
- Properly and effectively communicate project details to PMs and service providers.
- Participate in any/all National Sales or Regional Sales Conferences/updates.
- Possess a clear understanding of your sales segments (vertical markets).
- Join and maintain professional associations to enhance selling.
- Any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Two – five years working as a Sales Representative in the overhead, sectional, high speed door and docking equipment industry or retail field (REQUIRED).
- Experience in working in pressure field environment a plus.
- Experience working with many associates and personalities a definite plus.
- Computer ability: Word, Excel, and Power Point.
