Automotive Service Advisor
We are seeking an experienced, customer focused service advisor to join a local dealership in Lumberton, NC. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and skilled at guiding customers through the vehicle service process while helping the shop operate efficiently and profitably. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Greet service customers and provide exceptional support throughout the service experience.
- Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle issues.
- Prepare repair orders and communicate clearly with technicians.
- Present maintenance recommendations, explain repair needs, and secure customer approvals.
- Provide accurate estimates for cost and completion times.
- Maintain strong communication with customers regarding status updates.
- Review completed work with customers and ensure satisfaction.
- Support dealership CSI goals and maintain high customer service standards.
- Assist in warranty documentation and compliance with FCA/Stellantis guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor.
- Strong automotive knowledge and ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
- Experience with service management software ( CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Full Time position including some Saturdays.
Hourly/Commission based pay.
