Job Summary:

The Service Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, accurately assessing vehicle needs, and effectively communicating with customers and technicians. This position requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for providing top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, building rapport and establishing trust.
• Actively listen to customer concerns and accurately diagnose vehicle problems.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare accurate and detailed repair orders, including parts, labor, and estimated costs.
• Obtain customer approval for repairs and services.
• Communicate effectively with technicians, ensuring clear understanding of repair instructions.
• Monitor repair progress and keep customers informed of any delays or changes.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Schedule service appointments and manage customer expectations.
• Promote service specials and other dealership offerings.
• Maintain accurate customer records and service history.
• Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
