Mammography Supervisor (Full-Time)

Location: 6324 Fairview Road Suite 105 Charlotte, North Carolina 28210

Position Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule Details: M-F, 7:30AM-4PM

The Chief Mammography Technologist is responsible for all scanning functions of the dedicated breast center. Ensures necessary staffing, operation and maintenance of equipment, training of other technologists and handles inventory and ordering of supplies. The position consists of approximately 25% scanning responsibilities and 75% management responsibilities.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT registered
• Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification(s) remain active
• Certified in Mammography and Breast Ultrasound, in addition to X-RAY

Prior Experience:

• Knowledge of diagnostic mammography procedures and standards
• Skilled in operation of equipment of multiple modalities
• 8 years of experience in area of specialization

Special Qualifications:

• 2+ years of supervisory experience
